Default WAAS Upgrade for 420

I purchased my Garmin 420 before WAAS and I'm looking to upgrade. Does anyone know of a good and price-reasonable supplier for experimental airplanes? I've been told you can't go directly to Garmin, you have to go through a dealer.

Default A friend just did the WAAS upgrade

Had to go to a dealer, who sends the box to Garmin-- $3000.00, and then the dealer does the new antenna and new cable for another $600.00 or so. His was a certificated airplane and some paperwork was required for the install because he did not have the original paperwork on his 430 install.

I did the same thing in the Lance I share, when Garmin's price was 1500.00 -- the WAAS upgrade is certainly nice if you fly instruments.
