Default Oil Cooler hoses - temperature rating

Can anyone point me to some data on fire ratings on oil hoses?

Trying to decide between rubber or teflon or same but with fire sleeves.

Right now leaning straight teflon. Opinions welcome.

Thanks.

Default Go teflon

I would go with teflon as they never need replacing. Rubber hoses cook themselves at the temperature of hot oil so will harden in around 5 years and need replacing. Teflon will be good for the life of your airplane. I think the integral firesleeve makes sense, its not much more expensive, and the hoses are still more flexible than rubber hoses with no firesleeve. If you shop around you should be able to find the hoses for around $80 each - try Precision Hose Technology, they advertise in TAP.
