Getting your flight video off DVD's for editing on a MAC

This is very specific, but if you:

1. Own a MAC
2. Ever had people give you video of your RV flying on a DVD
3. Want to import it into your MAC for editing [say in iMovie]

...then you have probably been frustrated. You can buy expensive 3rd party applications but MACs have a way to do this natively.

I wrote a tutorial for this that is very popular (2000+ searches a day).

I know this isn't really just RV related, but I have read video post about issues with editing in the past and thought this might fill a need for a few other MAC-head RV types out there.
