Default RV-12s and Kitfoxes not allowed here

Check your home airport's covenants to see if Through the Fence ops (TTF) are permitted as applied to RV-12s, Kitfoxes, and other towable aircraft stored other than on airport property.

Ref the recently approved Draft copy of Monroe County Airport's covenants in Bloomington, IN, Section II, Aircraft Operations, para 3.

I was doing some advance planning as I may be relocating to that area because of a job change when I came across that document.

I'll find the thread in a second, but this has already been discussed pretty well. Hang on for a little bit

ah, here we go: note how it is based off some of the new rule making the FAA is doing, going from 95ish pages of rules to 700!

Default Misleading Thread Title

Normally I wouldn't have gone by a superficial glance but long ago I was born in Bloomington, Indiana. The city is so low profile that I don't believe I have ever seen the name come up in any form of communication except maybe in conjunction with Bobby Knight and Indiana University in the glory days (sigh). Anyway the rules even allow ultralights with specific approval RV-12s and Kitfoxes are not specifically excluded.
