Garmin 560/496 XM antennas

Maybe Matt can chime in. The new Aera 560 uses a GXM 40 XM antenna and
the 496 uses a GXM 30A. My question is are they interchangable? Will the
496 XM features operate using the GXM 40 antenna and is the opposite true of the 560 (operate with the GXM 30A)? The mind is working for an upgrade

To the best of my knowledge, the 396/496/696 will work with both the GXM 30 and the GXM 40, but the Aera products will work only with the GXM 40. Hope that helps.
