Default The great nut plate search, educate me please.

Hi Gang.

I'm trying to find a nutplate that is not your regular fair. I've found a description at the following page.

http://www.elitefastenersinc.com/images/military-19.gif

It is in the NAS 1195 category and if you look on the right, second box down you'll see the nutplates. The one I want is on the right of those shown.

How do you find out the proper part number for these? Is there a master NAS catalog that would give me the part number?

Any online source that I can find just list part numbers, no pictures to help slow guys like me

I would like to find the part number before I start making phone calls.

thanks, Terry.

Default Isn't that just the shim?

Terry,
I think you are looking at a nut plate shim - not a nut plate.
Check the AC43.13-1B chapter 7, Table 7-13 on page 7-68. I believe NAS1067 is what you're looking for.

If you don't already have the Advisory Circular (you should) you can find it FREE here:

We have the shims like what your picture showed but ares are 5052 aluminum. NAS463WD10

These work with Full size standard nutplates for 10-32 and 8-32.

If you need nutplates see tech page http://www.gen-aircraft-hardware.com.../nutplates.pdf

To purchase nutplates go to: http://www.gen-aircraft-hardware.com...47~48~48&id=48

Your will need to look around, we literally have hundreds of different nutplates in stock.

Be advised this is not your average site, there are many ways to find your info, I suggest you read Site Tips http://www.gen-aircraft-hardware.com/site_tips.asp before going too far.

If you have problems call me 805-239-3169

Best wishes.

Thanks Don and Tom.

It was the NAS 1067 nutplates that I was looking for. I've ordered them from Tom's website.

Thanks again, Terry.
