Default prime inside stick?
Just looking at the stick to decide where to drill for wiring and noticed it is not painted inside. Should I remove it from the aircraft and prime it ? Please say no.

How many thousands of years would you like that piece of steel tubing to last anyway?

Mine isn't primed, and I sleep just fine at night....

My policy is, "If I'm asking myself if it should be primed, it probably should be primed".... though I'm sure your stick will not dissintegrate within the next 200 years.
