Default Nut plates, anyone know where to find.

Hi gang:

Any body have a source for these types of nutplates? I purchased a grab bag at Oshkosh last year and it had 6 of these in it. Unfortunately I need 8. I don't see it at Wicks or Aircraft Spruce.

thanks, Terry.

Default Corner Nutplates

Terry,
Those are called corner nut plates. Specifically, those are "mini" corner nut plates. I have a bunch of these. They are very handy. They are part number MS21073-xx
Wicks carries them. Below is the link for #8 screw size.

So does Genuine Aircraft Hardware Company

B&B Aircraft Supply also carries them.

I've found that when looking for that really hard to find aviation hardware, the place to go is M&M Aerospace Hardware. These folks have EVERYTHING!!

They sell mostly to FBOs, but will sell to individuals. You will need to set up an account with them.

Hi Charlie, thanks for the reply.

I have some of the mini corner nut plates that you list from Wicks, but the ones I show in the photo's have closer mounting hole spacing. This tighter spacing will allow mounting on the narrow 1/2" flange that I have.

I'll check out the other sources you show.

cheers, terry.

Terry,
More info please. What screw size do you need? What is the center to center spacing on the rivet holes of the needed nut plates? Tomorrow I can dig into my supply and compare them to what you need.

Hi Charlie:

The six nutplates that I have are 10-32, and the centre to centre distance of the rivet mounting holes is 1/4".

If I could find a source I would order 8-32 size to match the other mounting hardware on the wheel pants.

thanks for the help, terry.

Try Dan at B & B Aircraft Supplies. He's great and very reasonably priced. I got a bag from him last year at Sun-N-Fun and wish I bought two. His number is 913-884-5930 and he is located in Kansas. Dave
