Default Camloc for oil door

I'm using the stock Van's cowl and oil door. It came out really well, but I want to replace the "elephant ear" stock camloc devices with a flat or phillips head unit. I looked at Aircraft Spruce's web site to look them up, and am unable to identify which ones I should get. I can't find any useful markings on Van's camloc.

Which ones should I get??

Thanks

Default Milspec

Dave - not sure how much room you have on the back but Milspec is what I used on the cowl instead of hinges.

They have different styles and probably have one that would work.

Another source is Skybolt

www.skybolt.com

I bought the kit for attaching the cowling and had two camlocks leftover which I used on the oil door. Installed the invisible hinge and a metal strip at the bottom to support the camlock recepticals. Much more secure, flush with the cowling and matches the other fasteners.

Default ditto Tom

Those two leftover skybolt camlocs went towards my oil door as well, along with my homemade hidden hinge.

some pics from my construction site...
