Default Jet-Flex Paint WB

Any body use water based Jet-Flex paint over AKZO in their interior? If so had did you prep the AKZO surface? How durable has the interior proven to be over time?

Mark,
I used the water based jetflex over the AKZO on interior of fuselage about 3 yrs. ago. If I remember right I just took some green scothbrite to scuff up the AKZO and wiped it down with alcohol. Two plus years flying and the paint is holding up very well. No chips to be found especially around the floor screws. The only place I see anything is on the hand rail where you climb in and out and here it is just wearing thin. A little touch-up next condition inspection might be in order.

YMMV
Bill
