Default Source for flush Hartwell latches

I looked up flush Hartwell latches on Spruce. $55 each. Ouch.

And then I checked Wicks. $10 each.

I know Spruce sometimes charges a premium, but over 5X is crazy. Is there something wrong with the Wicks latches?

Default Spruce used to have surplus....

When I bought mine last year, Spruce had surplus ones (sure looked new to me!) for about $10 each.Maybe they ran out....

They still have surplus ones for $10-17. Sounds like they are all different, though. If you're trying to buy two for the oil door, you might end up with two that are drastically different.

The wicks ones are fine. My ones from Wicks look identical to a friend's latches from A$&$.
