Default Way to go if shipping to Aust.

I made a thorough investigation before deciding to go with USA to Australia shippers, ACI Shipping (Australian Car Imports). And I'm more than happy with their service and personal attention.
ACI are 100 miles up the road from Van's factory and collect direct from Van's. It's only a small operation, so when you email or phone ACI you will be communicating with Phil Newell. He not only owns ACI, but he seems to do most of the work there as well. So you do get personal attention.

They freight to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. And freight one to two containers a week.

I worked it out we saved about $1000 by shipping our QB, finishing and FF kits with ACI, and the best part, there was no damage.

Sorry if this sounds like an advert for ACI. It's just I felt this info was worth posting, for anybody else here in Australia thinking of ordering from Van's.
