Default Dynon OAT - little thingies?

My Dynon OAT probe came with a little bag with three tiny metal cylindrical thingies (see photo). What are these? Replacement parts?

These are the pins for the harness.

Ah right... I just looked at the end of the cable (took the yellow tape off) and saw the same type of pins already on the cable. These extras are for if you shorten the cable I guess. Thanks!
