Default XP 360 with MT prop limitation

Does anyone know if there is a limitation to the MT prop running on an XP IO-360 Superior engine. Is it limited in the 2000 - 2250 range like the Hartzell?

I have a MT propeller Model MTV-15-B and a Superior XP Model lIO-360-B1CC4

Thanks,

Dean

I have this prop on my angle valve 200+hp A1A, Technically as I understood it there is no limitation but that may only be because there may have been no test and the prop is experimental. However that does not mean you should run it 2250 and below, At OH I asked about this very subject concerning my engine and this prop and any limitations. They said cruse in the 2400 to 2450 range and I won?t have any problems and suggested I stay well clear of that 2000 to 2250 range. They also said it would not fly apart if I ran it there but that it would beat out the bearings quicker and have a much shorter service interval.

I have ended up running at 2380 to 2400 in cruse and have been very happy for 750 hours and four years, looks like it?s going to make the 1000 hour TBO just fine.
