Feul Tank Level Sensor Wiring

I'm curious where others have run the wiring for the fuel tank level sensor. My wing wiring goes to the opening just behind the spar as usual. But since the tank level sensor is forward of the spar what's the best way to get the wire there? Should a small hole be drilled in the spar web for a grommet or should the wire be routed through a hole in the fuse next to the fuel lines forward of the spar?

Most people drill a small hole close to the fuel line hole in the fuselage side.
Do not run the wire through the same hole as the fuel line.
