Default Really good news from EAA Hq...

....that maintains our builder privileges. Through the hard work of EAA on our behalf, the FAA has finalized the rules very favorably:

Default I read the document

and it's a really good piece for a governmental product. IF enforced, it should go a long way to protect our right to build EAB aircraft. A builder has to overtly lie to hide commercial assistance, and to me that's a good thing in the long run.

I am a little concerned that some of the existing QB kits are very close to 51% as delivered. If a builder makes ANY modifications, they could be subject to the new rules, and may lose their grandfathered kit status. Current builders beware!
