Question Magneto weight?

Hello all!

I find out that a E-Mag weights about 2.7 lbs and a P-Mag around 3.0 lbs.

But how heavy is an normal magneto from an O-320 or O-360?

I think it would be much more, if someone knows, that would be great!

Tanks alot, regards,

Dominik

A slick impulse mag weighs about 4.8 lbs and a non impulse one weighs approximately 4.0 lbs. The small TCM/ Bendix mags (20 and 200 series) weigh about 5.6 lbs with an impulse and 5.0 without. The 1200 series mags go about 6.4 and 5.7 the same way. All with drive gears attached.
Good Luck,
Mahlon
