Default Painting back of prop black?

Hi all. The used prop i picked up is a wood prop that has been painted completely white. Im not sure what it was painted with...

I want to paint the back flat black, maybe the whole thing (no white on my plane).

I know Sherwin-Williams Polane L is what is recommended, but can i use something more readily available to spray the back flat black real quick before i mount it up?

Yep! Rattle can flat black works just fine.
And just to be technically correct, that would be the "face" of the prop.

Take care with how you apply the paint, It dosen't take much to get it out of balance.
