Default Extending Dynon OAT Probe cable ...

According to the Dynon literature the OAT Probe comes with a 10 ft. cable. I would like to put the probe on the wing, and the remote compass in the back of the fuselage. But I need more than 10 ft. Is it possible to extend the cable? Has anyone done that?

I would put the remote compass on the wing tip, except for the fact that I have an AeroFlash strobe power supply out there and that would probably interfere with the compass.

Default No Problem

I used a D-Sub connector between wires to lengthen the OAT probe wire to reach my fuselage mounted remote compass. Works just fine.
