Default Rudder trailing edge

I need information on the riviting method/tecnique for the trailing edge of the RV9 (and possibly the RV7?). I completed an RV6 N2644M in 1998 and an RV8 N246H in 2005 but they both have bent trailing edge on the rudder. I remember an article in an RVator around 2001 on how to double flush rivet the trailing edge for the then new RV9. I recall that care had to be taken to ensure a straight edge.

My new job has taken me to Georgia to help build an XP82 (twin engine mustang) which uses the same type of trailing edge, an aluminuim wedge flush riveted on both sides to the skins.

Any information on this method will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul Flora
