The brother-in-law called and said if I could get him to South Bend, there was a Notre Dame football ticket waiting for my son. Ryan is game, so we can do that!
This flight is becoming routine and sure beats the drive! We launch early and we are down in time for lunch. Ryan cheers the Irish to a 38-0 victory and gets the campus tour while I catch up with my Mom and sister. After the game, a nice dinner and more football on TV.
We woke to lots of haze and fog, but were able to have 5-6 mile viz the whole trip. 950SM on 33 total gallons = 29mpg, not too shabby!!
