Default partial power loss

We were flying back from delaware to hwv long island and i noticed a strange sound and a reduction of speed. Landed hwv and came back the next day to check the plane change the oil. Went back up reduced rate of climb reduced airspeed and cooler than normal egt. Checked timing cleaned plugs checked compression, went back up still reduced power. Talked to a friend an IA recomended a&p on field in 10 mins. found blocked injector cleaned all injectors put everything back did power check. The day before made 25 in manifold pressure brakes held rv8a after repair at 20in chocks and brakes held, plane jumped over ckocks against full braking.

Rv8a I0-360 200hp c/s prop.

Default filters

Hi Cyril,

Interesting info. What kind of filters do you have in your fuel system? Did you see any changes in EGT?

Hi Mickey The filter is the one that came with the vans electric pump, the egt (only one on aircraft) was 200 degrees cooler, one injector clogged 3 remaining cylinders richer and popping of exhaust gasses exiting tailpipe.

How much time on the filter and was there any work done recently on the fuel system. Thanks for the info, just thought these would be good data points for everyone, this filter is used on may airplanes.
