Next Gen: Sony eBook Reader

This morning Sony annc'd a new, larger eBook reader:

7" wide display, 800x600 w/16 grey-levels
Touch-screen
3G Wireless (AT&T)
SD slot (add up to 16GB of storage)
Available: Aug or Dec 2009 - conflicting info from Sony
List price: $399

Neither the annc materials or docs mention a screen light.

It seems that the Kindle DX has a somewhat larger screen;
1200x824. The prior Sony readers were too small for my
eyes, dunno if this will be (in?)adequate.

I am hoping that Sony carries over the PDFviewer from their other eBook
readers. Unlike the Kindle DX, the Sony PDFviewer has supported TOCs,
bookmarks and hyperlinks - which really speed-up navigating the A/FDs
and IAPs.
