Santa's Checkride

Don't know if you all heard this one or not... but it was mentioned at our Christmas party this morning. So excuse me if it's old but being pilots...

The FAA wanted to give Santa a checkride. So the examiner hopped in and prepared for the flight. Santa looks over and asks "What's the shotgun for?"
The examiner replies "You're going to lose one on takeoff!"
