Default Purchasing an RV with ECI "group A" Cylinders?

I could use some advice. I'm considering purchasing an RV-6A with an O-320 that has low time (130hrs) ECI cylinders and pistons. I talked to someone at ECI and they said they aren't seeing any problems at all with the group A cylinders. Now that a year has passed have any of you had any problems or known of any "group A" cylinder failures?
Thanks, Gunther

FWIW I spoke with the ECI rep at Arlington last year. He said the problems with the ?B? group were caused by a new assembly technique and it was absolutely a valid AD/SB. He also said that ECI fought against the SB/AD for the ?A? group because statistically the failure rate was no greater that other cylinders out in the field (read their cylinders as well as their competitors). Good luck.
