Garmin/Jeppeson Database
I have a Garmin 900X that uses a Jeppeson database. This database does not have any private airports in it, unlike the Garmin x96 databases. You can add one as a waypoint, but when you go to land the terain feature in the Garmin yells at you the whole landing " Warning Warning Terain, pull up". That is very distracting to say the least.
In conversations with Garmin they said I needed to talk to Jep. Talking to Jepp they say that yes they would be happy to add my airport for the modest fee of $750 plus a yearly update.
Has anyone found a solution to this dilema?
