Default Antenna Overload

I'm trying to sort through which combination of antennas I need and have a few questions. I'd like to know what others have done before I start from a blank page.

1) Comant vs RAMI... Is this certified vs non-certified, or is there really a quality difference? I priced out what I THINK I need at Spruce, and RAMI is about half the price of Comant.

2) I have a 430 and SL-30 combo, which has been discussed here before. The 430 wants the VOR/LOC signal split from the GS signal, but the SL-30 wants it all in one line. Do I need 2 different black boxes (one to split signal equally and one to split VOR from GS), or is there 1 box that does both? It appears that RAMI's AV-571 (http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo.../splitters.php) might do both. I have an email out to RAMI but haven't heard back.

I think that'll get me started!

Thanks!
