Default O-320 Main Bearing Shell Part #

Hi folks,
I am doing a bulk strip of my O-320 which will one day end up in my 6a. The main bearing shells have a part number 68763 which appears in the parts catalog etc., but it also has a suffix just below it "B".
Does anyone know what the "B" stands for?

Thanks for your help

Andrew M

I had wondered if it was a size grading within a size range. It's something we do in the automotive industry.

Mahlon, thank you for the information, I appreciate it.
