Flying into Appleton, Good/bad?

This year I will be flying into Appleton instead of Oshkosh. It kind of ended up being better due to not getting around to reserving a car on OSH before they where sold out, I am staying in Appleton, plus wanting to get out early Thursday morning to get up to Northern MN (north shore) by 9am.

Just a couple questions for those that have done it;
How is the parking? bumpy? is the grass cut?
Do they deliever fuel to planes tied down in the temp transient parking?
Are there shuttles from terminal building to plane?
Any issues on security? hassels?

No complaints from me for Appleton.

The grass parking area was fine. No issues.

Yes

Minivans, yes.

Any issues on security? hassels?

No complaints or major hassles. You do have to register

Don't forget to bring tie-downs... They will make you buy some if you don't bring any.
