Actual current for Airflow Performance pump?

Half electrical / half fuel injection question. Searched, but cannot find solid answer.

Does anyone know the ACTUAL current draw of the Vans/Airflow Performance fuel pump? I already have one, but don't want to run it while dry. Trying to plan the elctrical system layout. Thanks.

3.77 amps, 10A circuit breaker, 14awg wiring. Courtesy Vertical Power.

The "actual current" is 5.9 amps according to my Electronics International volt/amp meter. I checked it just for you.

I believe the pump we use is an Airtex model E8228 with appropriate attach fittings, is rollervane, selfpriming, 100-125 psi and will move 38 gph.
