Hold function in GNS430W?

Does anyone know if the GNS430W can create a holding pattern somewhere along the route? I couldn't figure it out. I did see how it will hold you on the missed approach, but I didn't see the enroute holding function in the book.

Any help?

I just finished some training with one of the test pilots of the 430 who worked at Piper in the early 90's while they were developing the 430/530 and asked him that specific question.
He said they wanted to incorporate it in but the FAA guys wouldn't allow them to do it.
Next best thing is to select OBS and dial in the radial and use distances to do the hold if it's not in the data base.

Which I can positively confirm WILL (works in beta) be working in the next software release on the GRT HWS-HX efis.
