Default Form 8050-88 help

I'm filling out the registration forms and am unsure about the first line on form 8050-88. It is titled "U.S. Identification". What goes here? Is this the N-number? This is the form that you use to certify that you're the builder.

Default Did you purchase the EAA...

...Amateur-Built Certification Kit Forms Packet??

They send you all the forms you need...plus a "green book" that gives step by step instructions on how to fill out the forms...plus some plackards that you will need.

For your specific question...the EAA answer is..."TIP! Leave blank unless you have reserved an N number that you want to apply to the aircraft."

Default EAA Packet

I greatly endorse getting the packet from EAA. Not a lot of money and lots of great, simple to understand directions. I used mine a lot.
