Default fuel line questions

2 questions about my 9A.

The line from the fuel selector to the fuel pump:
1) Is this a good place to put the GRT fuel sensor?
2) how do you bend the fuel line just before it goes into the fuel pump. The fuel pump inlet is close to the floor and the tubing must be bent very close to the fitting. The fitting is too close for my tubing bender to work, and if I bend it before the fitting goes on then I don't have enough room to cut or flair the end with the flair nut and sleve on the tube.

I have tried twice so far and dented the tubing each time.

Any ideas or pictures would help!!!!

Thanks,

Duane

Default There are a lot of ways to get it done

I used a jacketed hose instead of bending tubing for this application. You are right not to settle for something you know is not good practice. In the second photo you can see the hose loops out of the back of the console with no kinks or stress.
