AV8OR RS232 connection

Has anyone panel-mounted their AV8OR? If so, will the internal gps receive the signal or do you need an external antenna?

I have a Garmin 155XL in my panel with an available RS232 output. What type of connector does the AV8OR use for RS232 inputs?

I'm hoping get a "good deal" on an AV8OR at OSH unless someone has a nearly new unit available.
