Operating Limitations Question??
I received my Airworthiness Certificate today which includes the Operating Limitations document. Paragraph 21 states "...The owner/operator of this aircraft must obtain written permission from another CAA prior to operating this aircraft in or over that country..."
To me, this implies that I need written permission to fly my RV-6A over another country (Canada, Mexico, Bahama's, Cayman Islands, etc). And this permission must be granted by the host country's CAA organization. Is this correct? How are the RV world travelers doing this?
And no, these foreign countries are not part of my Phase 1 flight test area, although, I was granted a 80 mile x 40 mile area to fly in.
