Default Question about engine mount bolts
I have a conical 0320 engine (RV-4) and just purchased an engine mount kit with better mount isolator. Seems like the bolts that hold the engine to the engine mount are way too tight. Are those bolts close tolerance bolts or should I run a reamer through the engine mount hole? I don’t want to damage the bolts while installing them. Thanks for any guidance.

Vans told me to use a 1/2 inch drill bit or reamer to clean the inside of the holes.
