Default New tires, control issues

Hello all,

Installed new Desser monster retreads on my 9A during condition inspection. Discovered a deep cut in one of my tires, so I decided to replace both tires with new Michelin Airstop tubes. They are larger in assembled diameter, so I had to open up my tight fitting wheel pant openings. All good so far. Aired them with nitrogen to 38 psi, my normal operating pressure which worked well with the Aero Trainers that were supplied with the kit. Test taxi revealed all new handling characteristics, and first launch with the new tires revealed quite hairy directional stability during the launch. Rollout on landing was OK. Acts like too much air pressure, so I will adjust and taxi test again.
Seems that the Desser tires are much stiffer, and the 2 groove design is also new.
Anyone else had this issue after a tire change??

Thanks,
Chris
