Default Matco nose wheel back-fit kit

New axle for A model nose wheels. Appears to address some concerns.

I looked, but couldn't find a mention of this in earlier post.

Default It does seem to work well!

Sometime in the last six months Matco's axle was up for discussion on the list. My hangar mate and I purchased the axle and Desser's new two rib tire and did the swap. Does it work better? I don't know but I do like the fact that I can set the bearing load before installing the axle/wheel assembly in the fork.

Default Just finished the axle upgrade on the RV-8A

I just completed the nose gear mod (gear leg, fork, fairing brackets) with all new parts. I went ahead and added the Matco axle based on forum comments. I like the setup much better than the "pucks" ---- still have the RV "wiggle" on the nose gear, so no improvement in that area.
