Default EGT probe

Anyone have any ideas about which cylinder a single EGT monitor should be attached to in an IO-320 (RV-4). I seem to remember some O-320 powered Skyhawks that had it attached to number 3. I know it should be the cylinder to peak first--I'm just not sure which one that it.

Thanks in advance.
