Default diffrence between oxidies or corrosion
what would be the diffrence between aluminum oxiding or corrosion. a slight discoloration of a little white looking is oxiding and corrosion is pitting? how does one look to the other?

oxidation is a type of corrosion, in general the terms are interchangable

there are different types, pitting, filiform, etc.
