Default AV80R connection to autopilot

Has anyone connected their AV80R to the autopilot? I would be interested in a diagram that shows the pin out from the unit. My plan would be to cut the computer end off the usb cable then hardwire it into my panel. I am currently using the AVMAP as my primary GPS but would like the option of plugging in the AV80R.

Hi Andrew,

On the Honeywell AV8OR USB to Serial Cable, the DB9 connector is wired as follows:

Pin 2 is Receive
Pin 3 is Transmit
Pin 5 is ground.

I just plug my DB9 connector into the supplied Dynon DB9 connector and it works great.
