Default Dynon fuel flow - can it be done with FI return line?

Hi gang:

I plan to use the ECI fuel injection system which uses a return line that feeds excess fuel back to the tank.

I'm wondering if the dynon fuel flow feature can be used?

If so how does it work? A flow sensor on the return line to measure and subtract the unused fuel?

Thanks, Terry.

Where does it return fuel from? The servo? In that case put the FF transducer between the servo and flow divider and you are set. No need to measure fuel being fed back. This is of course assuming that you have the Andair fuel valve (or similar) which will feed fuel back to the tank that you have selected.

Hi Jamie:

Yes, the return line comes from the servo. So your suggestion should work as long as the sensors are suitable for the engine compartment environment.

I plan to use the Andair fuel valve.

thanks for the reply, terry.
