Default Manual trim clevis size - Nylon versus steel

My RV-6 kit has a trim tab horn sized for use with a Nylon clevis 1032 but I was supplied with a steel clevis assembly.

Unfortunatley the Steel clevis is somewhat longer than the Nylon item so I will need to shorten the Trim tab horn.

The length of the Steel Clevis from pivot pin to the end of the sleeve is 1.5" excluding the locking nut.

Can someone tell me the corresponding length of the 'Nylon Clevis 1032' so I know how much to lop off the horn.

Thanks,
Doug Gray

Default 1.25"...

... from the center of the pivot pin to the end of the sleeve as measured on my -7A. I didn't double check the part number but this is the plastic clevis supplied by Van's.
