Default Source for 1" SCAT flanges

All,
Where can I get 1" flanges for SCAT (and other) tubing. I want to construct several blast tubes. I have checked Aircraft Spruce, Wicks, and Robbins Wings and the smallest I see is a 1.5".

Also, is there anything special about the screen used as a filter? Where can I get that?

Thanks,

Default Screen

On mine, I just hunted down the cheapest stainless screen I could find ( I think Lowe's?)put a depression in it in the direction of the airflow and wrapped it around the flange. I then secured the SCAT to the flange (over the screen) with a wiretie. The aluminum screen you commonly see will work fine, it's just not very strong...

Default The screen is easy...

...just look in the aircraft parts section of your local food supermarket. You should be able to find a food strainer...with stainless steel wire mesh / screen. I used this in the cabin fresh air vent ducts and the on the baffle area for the cabin heat muff.

The blast tube "flanges" can be found at ACS p/n 10350-4.
