Changes in EGT temp
I know that EGT temps change with pwr setting, OAT, etc but is it normal for the EGT temp to decrease ~100 deg without changes to alt or power? Would flying through a different air mass cause this much change?
The last two flights after leaning at altitude with everything stabilized, I noticed my EGT temp would drop ~100 deg after flying awhile. It may stay there or come back up as time went on. I have ~270 hrs on the plane and this is the first time I noticed it. BTW, I only have the single EGT probe so I have no comparison... All other temps are normal.
