Want some Wright B Flyer time? It could happen for RV pilots going to the AirVenture Cup Race start at Wright Brothers Airport in Dayton Ohio. I received this in an e-mail from Eric Whyte (Director of the race) this morning:
We have a next side feature for the race this year, the Wright B Flyer
Museum is offering a discount to join their group (Joining also includes an
intro flight in the 1908 Wright B Flyer Replica) The cost is normally $150
but they are offering it to the race participants for $75 this summer. So
that might be fun to take the opportunity to get some Wright B time in the
logbook.
Another reason for making the trip and entering the race at
www.airventurecup.com. Registration is available online this year.
