Default Tip: AEX Trailing edge rivets & pneumatic sqeezer

Came up w/ a way to use my pneumatic squeezer on the AEX trailing edge of my -10 rudder, so thought I'd share it.

Simply, I took a yoke and found a suitable bolt to go through the hole, then used a die grinder to adjust the head of the bolt to have a flat angle matching the angle of the rudder.

An pic of the tool:

So, how did the rudder come out? Well take a look at the edge:

G2F,

Check out my Aileron page and scroll down to the entry dated 5/21/04. If you have more wedges to drill the jig I show is very helpful.

Also, in place of the bolt you used, I ground down a pair of rivet sets to the proper angle. Either method works great.
