Default old ignition harness

My -4 has an O-320-D1A which was built in '89 but not flown until '03, it has the original ignition harness. I have been thinking lately about replacing it due to age but leads don't feel brittle or stiff but pliability is probably not the only consideration.
Would like to hear about your opinion or experience on this.

Thanks,
Glenn Wilkinson

Original / new in 89 and not used tell 03? Are these the ones with the braded steel on the outside? If yes these last forever, frankly they all last very well, if they look good and are not oil soaked and are working good I would keep flying. If one does ever fail it will only be one and you will catch it in a mag check then replace the set.
