The Mechanical Universe

http://www.learner.org/resources/series42.html

Hello all!

Just in case anyone would like to learn, or perhaps brush-up, on their mathematical skills as applied to from bodies in motion, to gyroscopes, to orbital mechanics, and to the theory of relativity, then this a great program!

One just has to Register (a very simple process), then just watch and study the 52 videos which you find of interest. Also, there are no fees and you can watch the videos as much, or as little, as you like.

As for me, I found the program to be a great tool for fully appreciating the right turning tendency of the airplane when at high RPM and low speed when there is a sharp change in attitude. Further, I found the information on the use and design of high quality gyroscopes to be quite instructive.
