Default Stainless Steel Screws

Does anyone know of a way to make stainless steel screws black? I have 6 lobe 100 degree in my panel and would love to make them black. I tried paint and it just won't stay on. Thx CJ

Its been years but here is where I used to go.

Stainless accepts black oxide very well, Anodizing even better but more expensive.

I can ion bond them for you if you want. it is a high quality finish. email me and i can send my address. this might take up to 2-3 weeks depending on when the next batch is going in. if you have extra fasteners that would be perfect. n/c

Yeah, I think he's talking about 100 deg c/s stainless screws? I'd either hit 'em with some scotch brite and sharpie, or buy the equivalent (thread and length) in black oxide from mcmaster-carr.....
